Jodi L. Mercer is a departmental manager for the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA). She and her staff are responsible for increasing MSHDA's single-family loan volume. Ms. Mercer also oversees MSHDA's statewide Homeownership Counseling Program, the Individual Development Account Program, and the Foreclosure Prevention Call Center. She joined MSHDA seven years ago, but came with over 25 years of residential and commercial lending experience. Ms. Mercer is a certified housing development finance professional and has received certification in housing counseling from the NeighborWorks Center for Homeownership Education and Counseling. She is a recipient of the Greater Lansing Association of Realtors Affiliate of the Year Award, a past president of the Mid-Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association, and a former member of the board of governors of the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association.
