Lauren Willens is the lead intellectual property (IP), information technology (IT), and data privacy counsel for the firm. Ms. Willens is responsible for leading the Innovations and IT departments; drafting and negotiating commercial agreements relating to the use of system IP; protecting patient data; and reviewing agreements for HIPAA compliance, commercial transactions, and IP matters, including brand development, procurement, enforcement, and domestic and international licensing. Her work also includes forming health system policy and guiding strategic business decisions. Ms. Willens is committed to social justice and is actively involved in pro bono activities with Lakeshore Legal.
