Kathleen L. Bogas practices in the area of employment law. An active member of the State Bar of Michigan, she served as cochair of the Judicial Qualifications Committee and as a past chair of the Negligence Law Section Council. Listed in "The Best Lawyers in America" since 1989, Ms. Bogas is a past president of the National Employment Lawyers Association and a past president of the Michigan Association for Justice. She is a fellow of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the American Bar Foundation, the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, and the American College of Trial Lawyers. Ms. Bogas is a frequent speaker for ICLE. She was named by the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan as the 2010 recipient of the Jean Ledwith King Award and by the Negligence Law Section of the state bar as the 2010 recipient of the Earl Cline Award. Ms. Bogas was also the recipient of the Respected Advocate Award from the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel in 2001, the Champion of Justice Award from the State Bar of Michigan in 2012, and the Distinguished Service Award from the State Bar of Michigan Labor and Employment Law Section in 2016.
