Karl A. Hochkammer's practice focuses on information technology and outsourcing transactions. He counsels public and private companies on structuring, negotiating, and managing their internal and external sourcing relationships, both domestically and internationally. Mr. Hochkammer also has experience with restructuring and renegotiating in- and outsourcing transactions, managing acquisitions and divestitures in outsourcing transactions, and termination of outsourcing arrangements. In addition, he represents buyers and sellers of technology goods and services in connection with software licensing, maintenance, and support, software development (both on- and offshore), enterprise resource planning implementations, systems integrations, back-office processing services, application service provider and software-as-a-service agreements, technology licensing agreements, hosting and data center agreements, telecommunications and network management agreements, and hardware acquisition and maintenance agreements. Mr. Hochkammer is a member of the American Bar Association, the International Technology Law Association, the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals, and the State Bar of Michigan, where he serves on the Information Technology Law Section Council.
