Jason E. Bodmer is a manager in the firm's Dispute Advisory & Forensic Services Group. He has provided valuation, dispute advisory, and forensic accounting services for numerous purposes including marital dissolutions, shareholder disputes, estate and gift taxation, financial reporting, and other corporate and litigation-related matters. His experience encompasses a wide range of industries and he has provided valuation and consulting services for clients with international operations. Mr. Bodmer has presented continuing education seminars on the subjects of S corporation valuations, working capital valuation, and professional standards and guidelines. Additionally, he has served as an adjunct professor of finance at Northwood University. Prior to joining Stout Risius Ross, Mr. Bodmer was in the Forensic, Litigation, and Valuation Services Group for a regional public accounting firm in Southeast Michigan. He is an accredited senior appraiser of the American Society of Appraisers, where he was president (2010), treasurer, and vice president of the Detroit chapter. Mr. Bodmer is also a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
