Brendan Sullivan has more than 14 years of public accounting experience, advising a variety of public and privately owned companies. He has advised clients on the tax impacts of various transactions including mergers, spinoffs, acquisitions, and restructurings. Mr. Sullivan has developed and helped implement tax planning and consulting initiatives including tax accounting method changes, capital asset deduction analyses, and tax credit reviews. He has experience in many aspects of federal and state taxation, including income tax compliance, FIN 48 implementation and review, mergers and acquisitions, partnership allocation structures, multistate tax planning, and international tax planning. He has worked extensively with clients in the real estate, manufacturing, and health care industries within the firm’s Core Tax Services practice. Mr. Sullivan is a regular speaker on tax compliance and tax planning at BDO conferences as well as external events.
