Carol F. Breitmeyer focuses primarily on family law and attendant matters. She is also certified in collaborative law, conducts mediations and arbitrations in family law, and serves as a court-appointed guardian ad litem and parenting coordinator. Ms. Breitmeyer served on the State Bar of Michigan's standing committee on character and fitness, is a past chair of the Family Law Section, is on the Section's court rule and ethics committee, and is a cochair of the alternative family committee. She is a member of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, Detroit Metropolitan and Oakland County Bar Associations, and Wayne County Family Law Association (WCFLA), where she served as treasurer. Ms. Breitmeyer has been a lecturer for the Family Division of the Oakland County Circuit Court on the Estates and Protected Individuals Code and a moderator for the National Business Institute seminar on family law. She served as the chair and moderator for the WCFLA fall seminar "Nuts and Bolts."
