Thomas R. Behm has represented seriously injured individuals throughout Michigan for over 30 years in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability, and construction site negligence. He also serves as a facilitative mediator in a wide range of disputes. He is the president-elect for the American Board of Trial Advocates for the Michigan chapter. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. He has served as president of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, chairperson of the Negligence Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, a board member of the Michigan Association for Justice, and a trial instructor for the Hillman Advocacy Program. During his career, Mr. Behm has received numerous honors for his work in the field of personal injury law. In 2014, he received the Respected Advocate Award from the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel. He has been listed in "The Best Lawyers in America" in the fields of personal injury law, medical malpractice, and commercial litigation; as the Lawyer of the Year in litigation in 2015; and as the Plaintiff Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year in 2019. He has been selected as a Michigan Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers and as a Leading Lawyer in the "Leading Lawyers Magazine."
