John Mucha III practices in the areas of commercial litigation, construction litigation, real property disputes, torts, and non-compete matters. A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, Mr. Mucha has represented businesses and individuals in a broad range of matters, including construction and lien disputes, breach of contract claims, land contamination claims, and disputes arising out of the sale and leasing of real property. Mr. Mucha also represents owners, developers, and retailers in land use, zoning, and planning matters, and has guided clients through applicable governmental approval processes and related litigation. He has assisted both employers and executives with confidentiality and non-compete issues and his practice includes defense of personal injury and property damage claims. Mr. Mucha was chairperson of the Litigation Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and he currently serves on the Bar's Representative Assembly. He is a fellow of the Oakland County Bar Foundation and a board member of the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel. Mr. Mucha is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars and has received an A/V rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He has been recognized numerous times as one of Michigan leading attorneys for civil litigation by "Michigan Super Lawyers" and "Dbusiness."
