Kurt E. Krause has been practicing law for over 30 years. Admitted to practice by the State Bar of Michigan, the U.S. District Courts of the Western and Eastern Districts of Michigan, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, 6th Circuit, he practices in the areas of trial litigation; health professionals licensing hearings and health care fraud defense; and appeals, habeas, and postjudgment motions. Mr. Krause is a member of the Criminal Law, Health Care Law, and Master Lawyers Sections of the State Bar of Michigan; the Ingham County Bar Association; and the advisory board of Legal Services of South Central Michigan. He was a former assistant attorney general for the state of Michigan and has taught law at Cooley Law School and Michigan State University College of Law. Mr. Krause has served as the vice president of the Ingham County Bar Foundation and has been on the board of directors of the Michigan Center for Rural Health, the Capital Area Regional Health Information Organization, the Michigan Public Health Institute, and the Quality Care Community Council of Michigan.
