A managing partner of the firm, David M. Findling has over 22 years of experience addressing debtor-creditor issues and serving as a receiver in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts. He also specializes in serving as the assignee in assignments for the benefit of creditors. Mr. Findling has operated and administered commercial entities of all types, including office buildings, condominium developments, gas stations, hotels, mini-storage facilities, and apartments. Annually, his office administers over $50 million in assets. Mr. Findling is also the author of "The Enforcer," a monthly column on enforcement issues in the State Bar of Michigan's "Michigan Family Law Journal." He frequently lectures on insolvency and bankruptcy issues and on the collection and enforcement of child support. In 2000, "Michigan Lawyers Weekly" named him "Lawyer of the Year" for his work as receiver. A graduate of the Detroit College of Law, Mr. Findling is licensed in Michigan and Massachusetts.
