Julianne M. Ruecke is the director of the Research Division at the court. Following two years in private practice, she joined the court as a research attorney in 1992. She served as law clerk to Hon. Myron H. Wahls from 1993 to 1995 before returning to the court's Research Division as a research supervisor. In 1999, Ms. Ruecke became a district commissioner in the court's Detroit office and served in that capacity until being named the research director in 2013. She is a member of the Appellate Practice Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
