Neil Rockind practices in the area of criminal law. After serving as an assistant prosecutor in the Oakland County Prosecutor's office, he established his own practice in the area of criminal defense trials. Many of his cases involve complex drug, white-collar, or otherwise challenging circumstances and facts. Mr. Rockind is admitted to practice in the state of Michigan, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Mr. Rockind is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan, the Michigan Association for Justice, and the National Trial Lawyers Association and has earned the designation of Top 100 Trial Lawyers. He has been named a Michigan Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers and for several years running has been selected as one of Michigan's Top 100 and Top 50 lawyers by that organization. He has been selected by "Hour Magazine" as the Best of Detroit and has been named a Top White Collar Criminal Defense Lawyer by "DBusiness" magazine. Mr. Rockind has won various other awards, including the prestigious Leader in the Law award by "Michigan Lawyers Weekly." A frequent lecturer, Mr. Rockind formerly hosted a radio show and can be seen frequently on WDIV-TV (NBC Channel 4, ClickonDetroit.com) as the station's legal expert.
