Mark W. Peters is a member of the firm's business practice group and automotive and industrial team and routinely represents a variety of public and private clients in mergers and acquisitions in a range of industries, including automotive, sports apparel, infrastructure, insurance, broadcast communications, and life sciences. Mr. Peters also provides counsel regarding securities regulation and securities law compliance matters. He has extensive experience acting as outside general counsel to private companies and regularly advises clients regarding international transactions. Mr. Peters is a past chair of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, as well as a current member of the section's diversity and inclusion directorship. While a partner at a large local firm, Mr. Peters was recognized as Member of the Year by World Services Group, an international legal and business referral network, and served as an officer and on the board of directors of that organization. "DBusiness" magazine named Mr. Peters a Top Lawyer in Securities Law in 2021.
