Amy Rombyer Tripp

Jackson, Michigan


A partner in the firm, Amy Rombyer Tripp concentrates her practice in the areas of elder law, estate planning, and special needs planning. She is a former chair of the State Bar of Michigan's Elder Law and Disability Rights Section and is a member of the Probate and Estate Planning Section. Ms. Tripp is a fellow with the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a member of the Special Needs Alliance. She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Academy of Special Needs Planners, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness. In 2017, Ms. Tripp was appointed by the governor to the Commission on Services to the Aging, where she served for three years. She has been regularly recognized as a Michigan Super Lawyer since 2008, included by "The Best Lawyers in America" in elder law since 2013, and listed among the Top 50 Women Super Lawyers since 2016. Ms. Tripp was also named the "Best Lawyers" 2014 and 2017 Lawyer of the Year in elder law and selected as one of the 2016 Michigan Women in Law by "Michigan Lawyers Weekly." She received the Joe D. Sutton Call to Justice Award from Elder Law of Michigan in 2015 and the Nadene Mitcham Courage and Heart Award from the Michigan Campaign for Quality Care in 2009. Ms. Tripp is a frequent speaker on issues of elder law and special needs.
