Cynthia L. Umphrey practices in the areas of business law, exit planning, estate planning, and post-death administration. She assists families and business owners in making significant personal and professional life decisions. As an exit planning strategist, Ms. Umphrey helps owners of closely held businesses in scaling back their involvement, retiring, or transitioning their companies to new owners. She is the cofounder and former chair of the State Bar of Michigan Business Law Section's Small Business Forum. Ms. Umphrey is also a member of the Oakland County Bar Association and the Entrepreneurs Organization.
