Danielle M. Spehar is a shareholder, member of the firm's Executive Committee, cohead of the firm's Real Estate Practice Group, and a member of the firm's recruiting committee. She concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial real estate transactions, corporate, and business law and has particular expertise in the acquisition, financing, and sale of multifamily housing developments, including HUD financing. Ms. Spehar also has extensive experience in commercial leasing and the acquisition, sale, and development of shopping centers, commercial, industrial, and office buildings. She earned a master's degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University, graduating summa cum laude, and she earned her juris doctor in 1998 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude. Ms. Spehar is a member of the Real Property Section and the Commercial Real Estate Development and Ownership Committee of the State Bar of Michigan as well as the American Bar Association.
