Peter J. Kulick practices in the areas of taxation, gaming, mergers and acquisitions, and municipal law and finance, focusing on tax planning and compliance. He counsels a wide variety of clients in tax controversy matters before the U.S. Tax Court, Internal Revenue Service, and state agencies. Mr. Kulick is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, where he is a former chairperson of the Board of Tellers and a current member of the Taxation Section. He is also a member of the American Bar Association's Taxation Section and its Partnership and LLCs and Tax Exempt Financing Committees; the Ingham County Bar Association; American Inns of Court; and the International Masters of Gaming Law. A prolific author of gaming law articles published in journals such as "Casino Lawyer," "Casino Enterprise Management," and ABA "Gaming Law Gazette," Mr. Kulick is a frequent panelist at national gaming law and tax law conferences and served as the interim editor of "Casino Lawyer" 2008-2009. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Michigan State University College of Law, where he was the law review note and comment editor, and also holds an LL.M. from New York University.
