Rosemary Howley Buhl is a partner in the firm, with a concentration on elder law, long-term care planning, estate planning, special needs planning, and estate and trust administration. Ms. Buhl has served as a chair of the State Bar of Michigan’s Elder Law and Disability Rights Section and is a member of the Probate and Estate Planning Section. She is also a board member of the Michigan Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Ms. Buhl is a frequent speaker on estate planning, elder law, long-term planning, and Medicaid eligibility. She was selected as a fellow by the Michigan State Bar Foundation in 2015; was a recipient of the Joe D. Sutton Call to Justice Award presented by Elder Law of Michigan in 2015; named to Michigan Women in the Law by “Michigan Lawyers Weekly” in 2016; was named the 2019 Lansing Lawyer of the Year in elder law by “Best Lawyers”; and has been named a Michigan Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers from 2019-2021.
