Bernard J. Fuhs is a shareholder in the firm and concentrates his practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation. He serves as cochair of the firm's Diversity, Retention, and Recruiting Committee. Mr. Fuhs is regarded as a leading expert on noncompete/trade secret law and has litigated and counseled clients on such matters in all 50 states and presented to many national and local business organizations regarding the same. He was named to Crain's Detroit Business' 2012 Class of 40 under 40 and to L. Brooks Patterson's Elite 40 Under 40 Class of 2013. Mr. Fuhs was also selected as one of six Top Young Lawyers and a Business Litigation and Trade Secret Top Lawyer by "DBusiness" magazine. He has also been named to the "Michigan Super Lawyer" list from 2013 to 2015. Mr. Fuhs was elected President of Leadership Oakland Class XXIII and serves on the board of directors for both the University of Detroit-Mercy Titan Club and the School of Law Alumni Association.
