Randall J. Chioini focuses the majority of his practice on family law matters, specifically those with complex asset division, including closely held or family-owned businesses. He is a certified mediator and regular speaker for the Macomb County SMILE program and is a regular presenter, contributor, and author of a variety of publications and seminars throughout the year. Mr. Chioini is a member of the Family Law, Real Property Law, and Business Law Sections of the State Bar of Michigan, as well as the Construction Association of Michigan. He previously served as president of the Italian American Bar Association of Michigan and was the recipient of their highest honor, the Phillip F. Greco Award for Excellence, for his work in administering the organization and its commitment to the Friends of Foster Kids organization. Mr. Chioini was also appointed to serve as the family law committee chairperson for the Macomb County Bar Association for two terms and sponsored and hosted a number of family law-based seminars for its members, staff, and judiciary, ranging from updates to child support guidelines to an intensive multipart military divorce series. During that time, he also made recommendations on behalf of the committee regarding suggested parenting time for infants and children of tender years. Before practicing law, Mr. Chioini worked in the construction/land development industry, holding positions such as estimator, project manager, and purchaser.
