Glenn Walter is a corporate attorney with 20 years of experience handling corporate restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy issues. At the firm, Mr. Walter represents major creditors, official committees of unsecured creditors, investors, and asset-purchasers in complex Chapter 11 cases. He also guides financially troubled companies in both out-of-court workouts and Chapter 11 reorganizations. In addition, he represents professionals in their retention in Chapter 11 cases, conducts structural analysis of transactions to assess bankruptcy risks, and prepares inter-creditor agreements and resolution plans (living wills) for financial institutions under Dodd-Frank. Before joining the firm, Mr. Walter was a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP from 2001-2015 and an associate at Proskauer Rose LLP from (1995–2001). Mr. Walter was recognized by Super Lawyers as a Michigan Super Lawyer from (2016–2019), a California Super Lawyer (2011–2015), and a Rising Star (2009–2010). In addition to the State Bar of Michigan, Mr. Walter has also been admitted to the State Bars of California, New York, and New Jersey.
