Seth Andrew O'Loughlin specializes in representing clients in all aspects of Michigan property tax law. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Mr. O'Loughlin spent a year and a half as a law clerk at the Michigan Tax Tribunal. Since joining the firm, he has successfully represented both local units of government and taxpayers in proceedings before the Michigan Tax Tribunal, State Tax Commission, and circuit courts. He has extensive written and oral practice before the Michigan Tax Tribunal, Michigan Court of Appeals, and Michigan Supreme Court in a variety of ad valorem tax appeals and tax exemption cases involving real and personal property. Mr. O’Loughlin belongs to the State Bar of Michigan and the Michigan Tax Section. He has coauthored the American Bar Association's "Property Tax Deskbook" for several years.
