Hon. Mark A. Randon was sworn in as a U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan in July of 2009. From 2001 to 2009, he served as a state court judge for the 36th District Court in Detroit. Judge Randon has also worked as a labor and employment attorney for Honigman, Miller, Schwartz, and Cohn; Miller, Canfield, Paddock, and Stone; UT Automotive (now Lear Corporation); and the Detroit Board of Education. A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, he is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Federal Bar Association, and the Association of Black Judges of Michigan.
