Judy A. Keenan is the deputy director of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York District. She was formerly an attorney with Johnnie Cochran's law firm. Her work included a variety of complex personal injury and wrongful death cases, with an emphasis on health care provider malpractice, premises liability litigation, child lead paint poisoning, pharmaceutical product liability, and consumer injury. Ms. Keenan has spoken on child lead poisoning at the American Trial Lawyers Association (now known as the American Association for Justice) Annual Convention, on medical malpractice for the University of Windsor law faculty, and on tort issues at the State Bar of Michigan Annual Meeting, Women Lawyers Association of Michigan--Wayne Region, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Law Journal Seminar. Ms. Keenan has served on the board of editors of the "Journal of Products and Toxics Liability" and has contributed to the "Lawyers Desk Reference" (8th ed), the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association newsletter "TRIAL," and "Products Liability Litigation: Case Studies."
