As senior trademark counsel for FCA US LLC, Kristen Isaacson Spano provides legal counsel and transactional support to internal business clients in connection with a wide range of domestic and international trademark-related issues. She helps manage a growing and diverse worldwide trademark portfolio; drafts and negotiates licenses and other trademark-related agreements; participates in and helps manage all aspects of trademark enforcement; reviews advertising and other materials for proper trademark usage and copyright issues; and advises internal clients on website and domain name issues. Ms. Spano is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and serves on the INTA U.S. Famous & Well-Known Marks Subcommittee. She is also chair of the Intellectual Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Before joining FCA US, Ms. Spano was a principal at Miller Canfield in Detroit, where she specialized in trademark prosecution and intellectual property litigation. She was also named a 2010 Michigan Super Lawyers Rising Star in the category of intellectual property.
