CRA Formal Complaints
New Checklist
When a licensee receives a violation or fine from the Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA), it has 21 days to submit a request for a compliance meeting with a CRA representative or a request for a formal contested hearing in front of an administrative law judge. Use this new checklist to help your client prepare for and navigate either avenue.

Michigan Criminal Procedure provides practical guidance on procedural issues in criminal cases, from evidentiary challenges to sentencing and trial. The most recent updates include discussion of recent Michigan Court of Appeals opinions concerning search warrants, judicial conduct, and sentencing guidelines for second-degree murder.
 
Trustee Time and Expenses
New Form
Trustees can be paid reasonable fees for their services and reimbursed for expenses, including travel expenses. Use this new form, which you can conveniently download in Excel format, to help diligently track time spent on trustee duties and travel time to and from those duties to ensure accurate payment.
 
Labor and Employment Updates
New Legal Update
Your Partnership includes a quarterly series of Legal Updates summarizing all published Michigan employment and labor law opinions and public acts, with links to the full text of each. The latest edition, which covers July-September 2025, also highlights key federal regulatory developments in light of the recent government shutdown.
