Alan F. Polack practices in the areas of probate and estate planning and elder law. He is a past president of the Macomb County Probate Bar Association (MCPBA), a past president of the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Macomb, and a member of the State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Polack has written numerous Medicaid planning articles for "Bar Briefs" (Macomb County Bar Association (MCBA) publication), "Quarterly Petition" (MCPBA publication), and "Macomb County Legal News." He also writes articles for the MCPBA newsletter regarding probate and elder law. Mr. Polack has lectured for ICLE, the MCBA, the MCPBA, the Elder Law and Advocacy (now known as the Elder Law and Disability Rights) Section, the State Bar of Michigan, and many community groups. He has appeared on television for Clinton Township, Warren, and Shelby Township discussing various aspects of elder law.
