Ronald S. Longhofer provides business valuation and alternative dispute resolution services (arbitration, mediation, and court-appointed master) to the legal community and the courts. Until 2004, he was a partner at Honigman, LLP, where he practiced for 28 years, primarily in the areas of securities, corporate, and commercial litigation. A past chairperson of the Civil Procedure and Courts Committee of the State Bar of Michigan, Mr. Longhofer has lectured for ICLE and other organizations on various litigation-related topics, including valuation of professional practices, trial advocacy, and the introduction of evidence. He is author of "Michigan Court Rules Practice--Evidence," a three-volume treatise on the Michigan Rules of Evidence, and "Courtroom Handbook on Michigan Evidence." He is also author of "Michigan Court Rules Practice," a six-volume treatise on the Michigan Court Rules, and "Courtroom Handbook on Michigan Civil Procedure."
