Kathleen M. Goetsch has maintained her solo law practice since 1979. Her main areas of concentration are probate and trust administration, guardianships and conservatorships, estate planning, and family law. Ms. Goetsch is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and its Alternative Dispute Resolution, Animal Law, Elder Law and Disability Rights, Family Law, Senior Lawyers, and Probate and Estate Planning Sections. She is a member of the council of the Probate and Estate Planning Section and serves as chair of the guardianship, conservatorship, and end-of-life committee, as well as chair of the community outreach committee. Ms. Goetsch is also a member of the Livingston County Bar Association, currently serving as chair of the Probate Section, and is a past president of the organization. She has lectured and authored numerous times for Sterling Education on the topic of landlord-tenant law. Ms. Goetsch has been active in her community of Howell, having served 12 years as a trustee of the Howell Carnegie District Library Board, including serving as its chair.
