Michael P. McGee has served as bond counsel and underwriter's counsel for hundreds of transactions in various areas including economic development, transit, and transportation. In addition, he has negotiated complex intergovernmental agreements for a wide variety of clients, including a major economic development project for the southeast Michigan region and related legislation. Over the past 25 years, Mr. McGee has had primary responsibility for general obligation and revenue bond issues amounting to more than $3.5 billion. He holds a master's degree in public policy in addition to his law degree. Mr. McGee is a member of the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan's Environmental Law Section and Government Law Section, where he serves on the council. A frequent speaker, he has been listed in the Top 100 Michigan Super Lawyers, in "The Best Lawyers in America," and in the "DBusiness" Top Lawyer list.
