Mark K. Harder is a member of the firm's Private Client and Family Office Practice and concentrates his practice in estate planning and administration for high-net-worth individuals and in the representation of family-owned businesses and their owners. Mr. Harder also represents and works with numerous family offices and the families they serve. A member of the State Bar of Michigan, he is a past chair of the Probate and Estate Planning Section and served as reporter for the Michigan Trust Code Committee. Mr. Harder is a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, is listed in "The Best Lawyers in America," and is a Michigan Super Lawyer. He is ranked in Band 1 for Private Wealth Law by Chambers and has been named the 2010, 2017, 2020, and 2024 Lawyer of the Year for Trusts and Estates in Grand Rapids by Best Lawyers. He is an active speaker for ICLE and other professional organizations.
