David Hansma specializes in business law and complex commercial litigation, including shareholder and partnership disputes, fraud, noncompete litigation, business torts, and real estate litigation. Mr. Hansma represents clients before all Michigan state and federal courts and also represents clients in business transactions and counseling, with an emphasis on corporate fiduciary duties and shareholder rights. He has published and spoken at conferences on the subject of fiduciary duties and shareholder litigation. Mr. Hansma is a member of the Oakland County and Macomb County Bar Associations and is also a member of the Business Law Section and the Commercial Litigation Committee of the State Bar of Michigan. He is on the board of directors of the Friends of Macomb Township community foundation.
