Elizabeth Anne Campbell is a clinical professor of law in the Human Trafficking Clinic. She has dedicated her legal career to serving individuals who have experienced abuse and exploitation. Her research and teaching interests focus on human trafficking, immigration, domestic violence, and criminal law. She spearheaded a pilot project in partnership with Washtenaw County aimed at better responding to victims of human trafficking who are arrested and/or charged with prostitution and related offenses. Under Ms. Campbell's leadership, the Human Trafficking Clinic has received more than $1 million in funding from the U.S. Department of Justice in order to better understand and provide services to individuals who have experienced human trafficking and domestic violence or sexual assault. She regularly trains lawyers, law enforcement, medical professionals, and social services providers on assessing and identifying victims, as well as best practices in providing comprehensive legal services.
