Alyssa A. Grissom is the legal manager for the Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA). Ms. Grissom and her team handle a variety of responsibilities, including implementing the administrative rules. Previously, she worked as an assistant attorney general for the State of Michigan, where she began her work in cannabis law representing the CRA in administrative hearing and civil litigation. Prior to that, Ms. Grissom worked as assistant state’s attorney for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in Chicago, Illinois, handling criminal jury and bench trials, preliminary hearing, and grand jury presentation. She currently serves on the Alumni Board for the Michigan State University College of Law.
