Diane K. Higgins has been in collections for 19 years, 13 of which have been with United Bank & Trust (UBT). She was originally hired as the collections manager, but now serves as a collections officer. In this role, Ms. Higgins is responsible for consumer, home equity, mortgage, small business banking, and commercial collections, as well as bankruptcies, foreclosures, and recoveries on charged-off loans. Most recently, she is heading up the Home Affordability Program at UBT, which helps owners at risk of losing their homes to get back on track with their mortgage. In June 2009, Ms. Higgins cohosted a webinar on the federal government's Making Home Affordable Program. She has a bachelor's degree in paralegal studies.
