Jacqueline Roessler, a certified divorce financial analyst, provides divorce litigation support services to Michigan and Illinois attorneys. Her area of expertise includes financial planning issues for divorcing clients and the preparation and review of qualified domestic relations orders (QDROs). Ms. Roessler has been a financial advisor since 1993 and was formerly the executive vice president of the Institute for Certified Divorce Financial Analysts, an educational organization that trains and certifies financial professionals, accountants, and attorneys in the complex financial and tax issues of divorce. She is a frequent speaker across the country to financial planning and legal organizations on the financial issues of divorce and QDROs, including such diverse groups as the national Society of Financial Service Professionals, various statewide financial planning associations' annual conferences, and state bar association conferences. Ms. Roessler's work with divorcing clients has been featured in "Investment News," "Bloomberg Wealth Manager," "Fortune Magazine," the syndicated cable show of "Kiplinger's Personal Finance," and numerous local publications and media. She has also had numerous articles published in the "Michigan Family Law Journal" as well as "Michigan Lawyers Weekly" and has been a presenter for the State Bar of Michigan and ICLE. Ms. Roessler currently serves on the board of trustees for Schoolcraft College's Women's Resource Center and is a past board member for the Michigan Inter-Professional Association on Divorce and the Family.
