Kimberly A. Kramer is the owner of the firm, which specializes in bankruptcy representation for consumers and small businesses. Prior to that, she specialized in bankruptcy as an associate attorney and then was a founding member of Jacobs and Kramer PLLC, where she practiced for four years before the firm dissolved. A graduate of Valparaiso University School of Law, Ms. Kramer participated in an externship with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Indiana. She is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the Consumer Bankruptcy Association, and the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees. Ms. Kramer has spoken and published articles for the ABI. Also a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Bay County Bar Association, she is admitted to practice in both the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. Ms. Kramer is an active attorney on the pro bono roster for Legal Services of Eastern Michigan and has assisted in training staff attorneys to practice bankruptcy law. She has also served as an adjunct faculty member at Davenport University teaching business law.
