Matthew Abbo is a partner and cofounder of DA Advisory Group. Mr. Abbo provides tax, assurance, and accounting consulting services to the cannabis space. He has been involved in the cannabis industry for 6.5 years and currently sits on the MICPA’s Cannabis Expert Panel, which discusses best practices and coordinates educational trainings for other accounting professionals interested in learning more about the unique topics that fill the cannabis space. Prior to founding DA Advisory Group, Mr. Abbo spent time at Novogradac & Company LLP providing tax, audit, and consulting services, focusing primarily on multi-family and commercial real estate. Before joining Novogradac, he worked in the assurance group at Ernst & Young serving an array of clients and industries.
