Henry S. Gornbein is a specialist in all areas of family law, including mediation, collaborative law, and arbitration. Mr. Gornbein is of counsel to Lipson Neilson law firm. He is a former chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Gornbein is a former president of the Michigan chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a former chair of the Long Range Planning Committee of the national American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Mr. Gornbein is the creator and host of the award-winning video series "Practical Law." He is also the creator and host of videos and podcasts for the Gracefully Greying project, which provides comprehensive information and resources on all issues that individuals face as they age from legal, medical, economic, psychological, social, and physical perspectives. Mr. Gornbein is the author of the book "Divorce Demystified: Everything You Need to Know Before You File For Divorce." He is a coauthor with Jack Haynes, PhD, of the book "Child Custody: A Complete Guide For Parents."
