He is past president of the Michigan Association for Justice, a past member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Board of Governors, and a founding member of the AAJ Nursing Home Litigation Group. Mr. Olsman is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and its Board of Commissioners and a past chair of the Negligence Law Section. He has served as an adjunct professor at Michigan State University College of Law, where he taught medical malpractice litigation. Mr. Olsman is an elected member of the City Commission of Huntington Woods.
