Robert E. Lee Wright practices in the areas of mediation, arbitration, business disputes, bankruptcy, and creditors' rights. A Harvard-trained mediator with over 25 years of experience and hundreds of hours of training in the field of dispute resolution, Mr. Wright uses facilitative, transformative, and evaluative mediation techniques as required by his clients. He also represents clients in commercial and bankruptcy litigation. Mr. Wright is a member of the Dispute Resolution Section of the American Bar Association (cochair, Practice Development Committee), the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Section of the State Bar of Michigan (chair), and the ADR Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association (past chair). A member of the Association for Conflict Resolution, he is a past president of the Dispute Resolution Center of West Michigan in Grand Rapids, where he serves on the board of directors and volunteers as a mediator. Mr. Wright is an approved mediation trainer, providing advanced training for mediators in programs approved by the State Court Administrative Office, including several sponsored by ICLE. Listed in "The Best Lawyers in America," Michigan Super Lawyers, and "Who's Who in American Law," he is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation and recipient of the ADR Trailblazer Award from the Dispute Resolution Center of West Michigan.
