Jane M. Thurston practices in the area of criminal defense. She has been an assistant public defender in Washtenaw County since 1996. Before that, Ms. Thurston was in private practice from 1983 to 1996. She is a member of the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and is the treasurer of the Criminal Defense Lawyers Association of Washtenaw County. Ms. Thurston has been a frequent commentator for ICLE seminars since 1990.
