Patrick J. Haddad practices in the areas of health care law, insurance, business, and corporate law. He is cochairperson of the firm's Health Care Practice Group. Clients represented by Mr. Haddad include the boards of for-profit and nonprofit organizations, statewide professional associations, health care professionals, hospital systems, joint ventures, management/service organizations, and managed care delivery systems. Mr. Haddad is a member of the State Bar of Michigan Health Care Law Section, the American Bar Association Health Law Section, the American Health Lawyers Association, and the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association. He frequently addresses various organizations on topics related to health care, including presentations on peer review, physician self-referral, antikickback, compliance plans, HIPAA, and antitrust. He has authored or coauthored various articles on health care, including a coauthored article on HIPAA and its impact on Michigan's health professionals published in the "Michigan State Bar Journal" in November, 2002.
