Cynthia Heenan is the managing partner of the firm. Ms. Heenan specializes in civil rights litigation, particularly police misconduct, and forfeiture defense. She has also handled prisoner rights cases and represented protesters and community activists. Ms. Heenan is a longtime member of the National Lawyers Guild, having served on its local and national boards for many years. She is also on the board of the National Police Accountability Project and currently serves as its treasurer. She is also a member of the ACLU Detroit Michigan Lawyers Committee.
