Adam M. Lett practices in the areas of business and property law, including real estate, land conservation, estate, and Medicaid planning, and probate. A shareholder in the Traverse City office of Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge PC, he is the chief operating officer of SHRR Exchange Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the law firm handling tax-deferred exchanges under IRC Section 1031. Mr. Lett is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, the Illinois State Bar Association, The Florida Bar, and the Grand Traverse-Leelanau-Antrim Bar Association. Also a member of the Northern Michigan Planned Giving Council, he serves as director of Northern Lakes and Lands, a non-profit corporation supporting land protection projects, and as a director of the Rex Dobson Ruby Ellen Farm Foundation. Mr. Lett speaks regularly and has published numerous articles on topics of interest in his practice areas.
