Amanda Kole is an attorney referee in the Friend of the Court (FOC) office, a position that focuses on high conflict domestic issues such as child custody, child support, property issues, and spousal support. Specializing in family law for over 19 years, she has worked at the FOC office for over 16 years. Ms. Kole is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and the current president of the Referees' Association of Michigan. In addition, she is a frequent presenter at the SMILE (Start Making it Livable for Everyone) Program and has spoken as an FOC authority at numerous seminars and for various groups seeking assistance with domestic relations issues. In furtherance of her passion for the law, Ms. Kole teaches as an adjunct professor at Macomb Community College in the Legal Assistant Program.
