Michelle Johnson Tidjani is the senior executive vice president and chief administrative officer at the health system. Ms. Tidjani provides strategic oversight of the health ministry’s national budget, ensuring financial alignment with the organization's goals and objectives. She collaborates closely with the chief operating officer on the implementation of various initiatives, including implementation of the organization’s optimized operating model. She provides executive oversight for a number of enterprise functions, including corporate governance; CommonSpirit’s partnership with the Morehouse School of Medicine; enterprise consulting; the Lloyd H. Dean Institute of Humankindness; security and emergency management; and national meetings and events. In addition, Ms. Tidjani partners with CommonSpirit’s CEO to provide strategic and operational oversight of diversity, inclusion, equity, and belonging; corporate responsibility; advocacy and legislative affairs; and philanthropy. Previously, she served as executive vice president and general counsel of Henry Ford Health System; deputy chief legal officer for the Cleveland Clinic; and senior Counsel for Tenet Healthcare's Managed Care and Litigation Practice Group. Ms. Tidjani has received numerous awards for her leadership from such groups as “Crain’s Detroit Business” “The Michigan Chronicle,” and Wolverine Bar Association.
