Jamie M. Verdi, an elder law and probate attorney, is the founder of Michigan Patient Advocacy Liaison, PLLC (MI-PAL). She has an advanced law degree in health law from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law, Institute for Health Law. Ms. Verdi represents seniors, individuals with mental and physical disabilities, and their caregivers. She is a board member of the Area Agency on Aging 1-B Board of Directors and frequently speaks on topics regarding patient advocacy and quality of care in the long-term care arena. Ms. Verdi has also taught and developed the curriculum for an online course at UCLA Extension, Health Law and Issues in Patient Advocacy.
