Chiara F. Mattieson is of counsel to the firm. She focuses on probate and trust litigation and administration, civil and commercial litigation, and estate planning. Ms. Mattieson is a member of the Probate, Estate, and Trust Planning Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association and of the Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Law Section of the Washtenaw County Bar Association. She is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan's Probate and Estate Planning Section. Ms. Mattieson has been recognized as a Rising Star in litigation by Michigan Super Lawyers from 2009 to 2016 and by "Hour Detroit Magazine" as one of its Top Women Attorneys in Michigan from 2014 to 2015. In 2020, she was recognized as an honoree by "Michigan Lawyers Weekly" as one of their Women in the Law. Ms. Mattieson has also been designated a Top Lawyer by "DBusiness" in commercial litigation in 2013 and in trusts and estates in 2022.
